Things You Can Do @ Support Sanity - Israel / Palestine Lapel Pins & More ...

The Support Sanity campaign is based on the notion that ordinary people can promote a just and secure peace between Palestine and Israel by taking a stand on the issue that's widely visible. Wearing a lapel pin as part of your everyday attire can be a key part of that widely-visible stand.

But there are also other ways of making your views known – to your friends, family and colleagues; to your community leaders; to media; to your elected officials; and to the general publics in the United States, Israel, Palestine and around the world.

We encourage you to spend a view minutes reviewing the various possibilities and undertaking those you feel comfortable with. Please let us know if there are other activities we should be facilitating.

Help us distribute free lapel pins at important events in the United States and around the world, thus widening the circle of those publicly affirming the fundamental humanity of both sides as well as increasing the visibility of that circle among the media and the general public.

For each event, Support Sanity matches donations dollar for dollar. For example, if $150 is raised to distribute 100 pins, we'll donate another 100 pins at no charge, putting 200 pins in to the hands of people who need to receive them. In addition, we will highlight the event for the relevant and appropriate media.
