Because our primary assets are our image and our reputation and because several of our major sources of income are tied to the use of our insignia on items and in connection with events, we carefully monitor and control the use of the crossed-flags-over-motto insignia and other key elements of our public presence. To this end the insignia and all other key elements are copyrights and/or trademarks which we vigorously defend under applicable U.S. and international laws.

On the other hand, since our primary purpose is to promote the mass display of these symbols and sentiments, we do everything possible to make them easily, fairly and inexpensively accessible.

We balance our need to protect our key intellectual assets with our desire for maximum exposure through the following terms and conditions and through our licensing program:
