Introducing Support Sanity™

Support Sanity is an independent public campaign
devoted to:

• Building massively-visible mass support for an evenhanded two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict;

• Affirming the common humanity of both Palestinians and Israelis;

• Promoting the mass display of a simple, "symmetrically-affirmative" symbol that concretely embodies this humane and practical perspective: the Israeli and Palestinian flags crossed in friendship over the motto "Justice · Peace · Life".

The centerpiece of our campaign is an attractive and inexpensive lapel pin that we are encouraging supporters of a just peace to wear as part of their everyday attire.  Through this work we seek to help shape American public opinion and, through that, U.S. foreign policy.

We work with groups and individuals around the United States and around the world, including Israel and Palestine. Please contact us if you are interested in working with us in any way whatsoever. We’re creative and we’ll do our best to work out a suitable arrangement. We can even help you set up a similar campaign outside the United States.

Although we work with many individuals and groups, as an independent campaign Support Sanity is not an arm of any of them. We have no hidden connections or ulterior motives and no hidden agenda.

In keeping with the notion of being the change we hope to effect, Support Sanity seeks to operate as a Jewish-Arab/Muslim partnership to the greatest degree possible while welcoming all people of good will regardless of ethnicity or other factors.

Support Sanity is based in Chicago and is sponsored by Ideas in Action LLC. We are currently exploring alternative means of institutionalizing this work.
